- Coordinate Product Sales and Equipment Rental transactions
- Manage the logistics of accurate personnel, supply, and equipment delivery
- Set up fixed assets in the computer database
- Balance the “cash drawer” and making daily deposits
- Load and unload equipment for customers
- Inspect equipment before it leaves and as it returns and communicate with the customer about the operation of the equipment, supply, or tool
- Consistent and proper use of call pad or other customer qualification tools
- 3-5 years of experience in the rental industry (construction equipment) preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Skill in using basic computerized equipment
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used in the construction industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of all applicable safety standards, rules, laws, and procedures
- General knowledge of daily processes and procedures of B&G Equipment and Supply
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers and customers
- Ability to record information in the proper manner in both written work orders and computer databases
- Required to stay up-to-date on industry equipment changes, through continued education
