Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction. This is a full-time position located in College Station, TX.
JOB DUTIES:
· Bilingual customer representative to answer phone calls and manage appropriately
· Enter customer requests into operational system for dispatching
· Greet and direct customers, guests and employees
· Assist with scale house operations as schedules dictate (lunches, vacations, etc)
· Generate operational reports
· Accumulate and route invoices for processing
· Record routine orders in an operational system
· Coordinate meetings both internally and externally
· Assist with advertising and marketing projects
· Open and distribute mail on a daily basis
· Make post office and bank runs as necessary
· Support sales reps with various administrative needs to satisfy customer requests
· Basic understanding of office equipment, copiers, fax machines, postage machines etc.
· Issue PO’s for vendor services – as needed by employees
· Assist with onboarding new employees (applications, DOT paperwork, insurance, etc.)
· Other tasks as needed by team members include, but not limited to filing, copying, faxing, etc.
Skills Needed – Candidate should possess clear written, verbal and phone etiquette skills. Must be easily adaptable to change while keeping a positive attitude. This position is the first voice and face to the company and should be able to easily interact with other employees, guests and customers – always putting the customer first. Must be very organized and able to pay close attention to detail and work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to take on new responsibilities as the needs arise.
Experience – Experience – Minimum of 3 years as office administrator experience in a fast-paced environment.
Education – High school diploma, some college preferred but not required if minimum of 3 years work experience is met.
