The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady is actively seeking enthusiastic Youth Development Professionals for our Elementary afterschool program within the Schenectady City School District. As a vital member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for the youth in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing Homework Assistance
• Implementing national Boys & Girls Club Programs
• Creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for youth
• Supervising and supporting a group of students
• Ensuring the maintenance of equipment and facilities
• Establishing a safe place for youth
• Encouraging and motivating youth participation in program activities
• Building positive relationships with families, school staff, and the community

Qualifications:

• Experience in working with youth.
• Strong team player and collaborator.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities.

• Reliable transportation.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Willingness to undergo a background check process.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• After school
• Monday to Friday

• Schenectady, NY 12303: Relocate before starting work (Required)
