The Program Coordinator II shall be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program. Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives.
- Providing guests with information about attractions, facilities, services, and activities in or outside the hospital.
- Preparing or assisting preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
- Conferring with and advises staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; refering to appropriate department person when unable to respond.
- Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- May evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods.
- May review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
- May Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts
- Assisting with written communication and promotional literature.
- May plan workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
- May supervise staff
- Associate’s degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
