DUTIES: In addition to all duties in Program Coordinator I, Program Coordinator II will perform these duties:

Assist in developing, implementing and managing a middle or high school Youth to Health Careers Program.

Coordinate comprehensive summer and academic year program activities (i.e. clubs, tutoring, internships, mentoring, community service, college prep, and field trips).

Help to coordinate the Youth Advisory Board.

Liaise with BPS representatives to monitor student progress and track graduates of the program.

Help recruit, liaise with, and evaluate internship preceptors at area health providers, including hospitals and community health centers.

Provide information and guidance to students and families entering the post-secondary preparation process.

Ensure regular attendance at all program activities.

Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to apprise them of student performance and progress.

Regularly input program data for tracking outcomes.

Complete monthly and annual progress reports.

Participate in evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of educational programs, instructors, activities, materials and services. Performs other duties as required.
