Boston Children's Hospital is Hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse, Complex Surgical Unit, Inpatient Near Boston, MA
Position Description
This Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Working on a brand new 24 bed complex surgical unit
- Providing care for all pediatric patients (all ages), including General Surgery & Urology, Solid Organ Transplant and End Stage Renal Disease patients
- 12 of the 24 beds will have 2:1 nursing ratio for patients needing fluid management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert care
- Working per diem, 12-hour shifts days or night. 4 shifts in 6 weeks, 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
- A Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- A minimum of 1 years of inpatient acute RN experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- PALS or ACLS preferred
