Position Description
40-hour outpatient social work position available! This social workers will provide a range of clinical social work services to Ophthalmology patients seen in our Ophthalmology clinics.
This Ophthalmology Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

• Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention
• Facilitation of use of hospital and community services, resource information and referral
• Program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary team

To qualify, you must have:

• Master's degree in Social Work; Social Work licensure in the state of Massachusetts. LCSW or LICSW.
• Experience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
• Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills necessary.
