Booth Management Consulting is Hiring a Sr. Contract Administrator Near Arlington, VA

Booth Management Consulting, LLC (BMC) is a diverse CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. Position Summary

The Sr. Contract Administrator will work with the government entity to assign work to contractor personnel, supervise ongoing efforts, and manage overall performance. Responsible for the quality and efficiency of all work performed and products delivered.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides senior contract management support which includes providing administrative assistance on acquisition-related documents including, acquisition plans, milestone schedules, solicitation lists, proposal evaluation methodologies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cost estimates, agreements, task orders, contracts and modifications.
  • Schedules meetings, drafts agendas, records meeting minutes and action items, and follows-up on action item completion.
  • Assists with post-award functions including the creation of electronic files, SharePoint sites, financial tracking, and accruals.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations on single-points of failure and/or bottlenecks that inhibit the workflow and efficiency of the contract administration and oversight process.
  • Creates, or provides improvement recommendations for, job aids and templates and conducts/delivers training.
  • Develops and maintains documents, which include, but are not limited to reporting templates/guidelines and policies for contract governance.
  • Maintains, or performs quality control reviews of, physical and electronic records.
  • Assists in the on-boarding, off-boarding, and transfer of contractor personnel, including tracking the status of individuals in each process.
  • Reviews official contract records and makes recommendations as to whether a contract is ready for closeout.
  • Assists with developing business processes, spearheading special projects, providing technical advice, assessing productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of program operations.
  • Applies knowledge of process improvement, performance management, and change management as the program office makes organizational improvement for its processes.
  • Monitors contractor compliance to all identified program Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Directives, and makes recommendations for implementing or improving compliance within the contractor team.
  • Assists the government client in developing policy, regulations, instructions, or guidelines based on current or new acquisition-related policies associated with contract administration and oversight.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 8 years combined experience in program management and FAR or non-
    FAR based contract administration, while servicing the Federal sector
  • Ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing and managing large volumes of tasks
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with groups of individuals at all
    organizational and management levels
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in an effective and coherent manner
  • Demonstrated subject matter expert in the federal acquisition process to include all pre- and post-award
    activities associated with contracts for commercial goods and services
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Excellent organizational skills

* This position requires the individual to undergo a security clearance to perform work on a federal contract
