Boka Restaurant Group is currently seeking an Events Sales Manager to oversee Girl & the Goat, Duck Duck Goat, and Little Goat.
Overall compensation listed (80k - 90k) is a combination of commission and base salary.

Schedule: 

Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, with the expectation that you will set aside additional time to greet your clients and oversee and manage at your events. Please note that this will include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary, based on events schedule. 

Events Sales Managers Responsibilities: 

  • Receiving all events inquiries and conducting all correspondence with prospective and confirmed clients. 
  • Acting as the liaison between the client and the head staff to accurately communicate all pertinent details and information correlating to that event, ensuring all parties involved are clear on all event components. 
  • Developing new business relationships and opportunities to increase private event sales. 
  • Ensure timely follow up with clients including Thank You’s and outreach for repeat business. 
  • Overseeing events until handoff to operations team.
  • Working with the management team to develop standard operating procedures for private events and facilitating any systems to be put in place at your location. 
  • Participating in weekly manager meetings to review all pertinent details regarding all up-coming events and catering at the related entities. 
  • Involving yourself in developing and creating specialty items pertaining to each event, such as the printing of any menus and place-cards, along with any other details designed to make the event completely unique. 
  • Working with outside vendors such as flower, linen, and rental companies in order to create a full-service event sector that is able to meet each client's particular needs. All specialty requests from clients should be accommodated to the best of your abilities. 
  • Collaborating with the team to generate ideas and collateral to promote Private Events and Catering sales, including creative ideas to fill the space when not booked. 
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals as set by the BRG Executive Team. 
  • Completing monthly outreach and entertainment goals as set by the BRG Executive Team.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
  • Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces
  • Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environment
