Full-time position available for a large busy Family Practice group. Duties for our Certified Medical Assistants include triaging patients, assessments for quality measures, lab skills, telemedicine, EMR documentation, assisting physicians with patient exams, injections, immunizations, EKG’s, and other medical procedures. Must be detailed oriented and have basic computer skills. EMR training is provided. Our Certified Medical Assistants have access to an enhanced benefit package.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

· Requires current CMA certification and BLS.

· Knowledge of general Medical Assistant skills, including basic knowledge related to nursing such as drugs, biological, physical, social and medical sciences. Also must be familiar with infection control, universal precautions, and OSHA standards required.

· Requires familiarity with medical diagnoses, procedures, and accepted medical treatment, knowledge of procedures and techniques necessary to administer medication and treatment as prescribed by physician.

· Knowledge of medications and common side effects.

· Ability to lift at least 51 lbs. on a regular basis and physically be able to help patients that may require assistance.

· Proficient working knowledge and ability to accurately and timely operate and perform computer related tasks with specific equipment and software applications required.

· Must have current MA certification and a current CPR card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
