JOB SUMMARY: Provides medical care and clerical support by facilitating patient flow through the clinics. Performs various activities such as data collection, routine tests, specimen collection, EKG's, assisting with procedures, patient registration and front desk support.

Responsibilities:

· Comes to work each day relentless about transforming the delivery of healthcare through outstanding customer service, convenience, and affordability

· Gives direct patient care and performs EKG, administer injections and assist in procedures/treatments as requested by provider

· Performs blood draws, lab test, check vitals, and procedures etc.

· Interviews and documents patient vitals and x-ray results in the EMR

· Works as part of the overall team by answering the phone, completing referrals, patient callbacks and other activities requested by management

· Abides by company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

· Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.

· Medical Assistant certification required, and CPR Certifications preferred

· At least 2 year experience in a clinic setting, preferably primary care

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Ability to work as part of the team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Exposure to infectious agents; frequent walking and standing, lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies. Use up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects
