Job Description

We are currently seeking an Area Human Resources Manager (AHRM) to be based in Tampa, FL and report to the Director of Human Resources. This position will be a key member of the Florida Ready Refresh operations leadership team. The Area HR Manager will partner with leadership to drive performance and continued enhancement of the organization’s culture and capability supporting an area containing 10 distribution centers with approximately 270 employees. 

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Provide strategic HR leadership and generalist support for 10 distribution centers;
• Leverage knowledge of people process and tools to ensure high levels of management credibility, business performance and employee engagement;
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop effective area recruiting strategies for front-line positions and leadership bench strength;
• Build and support a sustainable compliance culture.
 

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a human resources generalist/leadership role in a progressive HR department
• Bachelor’s degree in business, humanities, psychology, or another applicable field related to Human Resources
• Strong business acumen with a proven track record of being a strategic HR business partner in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Experience in proactive employee relations, recruitment and staffing
• Experience in sophisticated and complex employee relations matters 
• Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing clients on solving business/operational issues 
• Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker’s compensation. 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and develop high trust at multiple levels of the organization 
• Demonstrated change and project management skills to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment 
• Ability and willingness to travel each week based on business need (up to 80%)
