Blue Sky Counseling is hiring a full time Administrative Assistant. Administrative Assistants are responsible for a variety of tasks including providing outstanding customer service, assisting the people we serve with accessing care, navigating services through directing to appropriate staff as needed, scheduling appointments, clerical functions, reaching out to community supports, maintaining a clean work environment, confidentially, clinical staff support and more. This position serves as the initial point of contact for people needing our services, families, community providers, referral agencies and internal staff when outreaching the agency. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, effective oral and written communication. A positive attitude, can work as a team and a general understanding of substance use and recovery is essential, with the ability to create an understanding and non-judgmental environment for people to engage in treatment.

Minimum Education/Experience Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college experience preferred.

· At least two years of customer service experience in unrelated field or 1 year in a related field

· Strong customer service skills, ability to problem solve and demonstrate an understanding of substance use issues, showing empathy and balancing accountability.

· Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, schedule and follow procedures.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, ability to learn and utilize Electronic Medical Records and Scheduling systems

· Understanding of basic office equipment and phone systems

· Must be a team player and present with a collaborative approach to promote cohesive office functions.'
