Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary Range: $76,000 - $124,000 annually, with up to $3,000 relocation bonus based on relocation mileage

Job Overview:

Join our dedicated Heart Center team as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, providing critical support to pediatric patients with heart conditions. This role involves working closely with top-tier pediatric critical care specialists, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to ensure the highest quality of care. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with complex cardiac conditions and contribute to the cutting-edge treatment and management of pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, ensuring patient comfort and the technical quality of images.
• Prepare and position patients for echocardiograms, explaining the procedures thoroughly.
• Manage patient data entry and monitoring.
• Ensure the equipment's optimal performance through regular quality assurance checks and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, participating in on-call rotations.
• Uphold high standards of patient care and safety in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Support continuous professional development and departmental performance improvement efforts.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced staff, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Preferred graduate from an accredited program in Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology.
• Certification: Must be certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support. Additionally, one of the following certifications is required:
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International,
• Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International,
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months pediatric echo experience is required. Ability to lift and maneuver patients as needed for procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior hospital experience is highly valued.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care, with a track record of adhering to safety and quality protocols.
