Big Star Branding is headquartered in San Antonio Texas. This position can be filled locally or managed remotely. The right candidate will have national sales experience and will be able to travel as needed. What you do need is a love for strategic selling and for growing long-term relationships with the BSB team and our clients. Company culture and positivity is greatly valued here at BSB.
Experience:
· 3-5 years of sales management experience
· Grew and managed national level accounts.
· Mentored sales staff to achieve their goals.
· Advertising, marketing, or promotional sales experience a plus
· You do not need to know the promotional products industry as we are willing to train.
Responsibilities:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
· Leading our sales team to achieve sales targets.
· Establishing productive relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
· Negotiating and closing agreements with large accounts
· Monitoring sales representative’s performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
· Preparing sales forecasting and revenue estimates
· Identifying new customers and market opportunities
· Providing timely solutions aligned with client needs.
· Collaborating with the Marketing Department on advertising, website enhancements, and social media initiatives
· Ensuring brand consistency and awareness
Additional Job Duties:
· Staying updated on product launches and ensuring sales team alignment
· Attending industry conventions and traveling to client offices as needed
· Recommending new services and suppliers based on industry trends.
· Analyzing market trends and behaviors
· Managing daily sales operations
· Recruiting, hiring, and training branding specialists/sales representatives.
· Sharing strategies with the sales team to meet goals.
· Conducting individual and group meetings with sales members
· Implementing budget controls, compensation programs, and incentive planning.
· Carry a short list of large accounts.
· Attending and working trade shows
· In office visits
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
· Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
· Ability to learn new industry-specific software.
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
· Friendly and welcoming personality
· Problem-solving attitude
· Team-oriented mindset
