High end accessories boutique on the Upper West Side New York, NY seeks a self-driven, talented, sales person for immediate hire.

You should be engaging, customer-centric people-person with the goal of consistently delivering excellent service and conveying the love of our unique products to new and existing customers. We prioritize consistency, honesty, and reliability.

We are only considering applicants with 5 plus years of retail sales experience in fashion, jewelry, boutique stores. You must have 2 job references from your last 2 positions. We expect the best from you~! We are looking for permanant (NON SEASONAL) help. We will work with you to make sure you can stick with the team for a long time. We pay $18/hr for training and $20 /hr after traning ends. Please note: you need 2 active past job references.

Duties:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both in store and online
- Have strong sales skills- also in maintaining contact with online customers and in-person clientele

-Be adept at maintaining our visual merchandising program

-Be a self-starter, who can be trusted to initiate research on new products
- Process sales transactions at register and on internet accurately and efficiently

- Teamwork with other salespeople to hit target sales goals
- Cleaning and organizing sales floor, inventory in stock shelves, and precisely merchandise products
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

-maintaining website--updating inventory, initiating new product photography, and promote on social media channels
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Requirements:

- Strong organizational skills and exceptional VISUAL memory with the ability to multitask are a MUST
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Helpful to have facility in French or Italian
- 5 years in jewelry and fashion accessories retail sales is expected
- Proficient in time management to ensure productivity and meet sales targets

Must be able to lift 15 pound boxes on occaision
