Beyond Financial Planning is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Financial Services Near Bethesda, MD

Beyond Financial Planning is a boutique financial planning firm.

We are looking for someone who, preferably, has an interest in the financial services industry, who can quickly pick up ideas and responsibilities and is able to run with them without constant supervision.

Key traits we are looking for:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong typing and note taking skills, including being able to transcribe meeting notes efficiently and accurately

  • Organizational ability, attention to detail, with a perfectionist’s eye
  • Polite communication with clients, team members, and vendors
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Effective and efficient time management
  • Clear and confident speaking voice, especially over the phone
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Comfortable learning new technology, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to try to figure things out on your own once you are familiar with available resources

Responsibilities include:

  • Client meeting preparation and post-client meeting follow-up tasks
  • Collect signatures from clients, copy/scan and submit documents
  • Monitor and follow-up with all work-related notes with advisors/clients
  • Schedule client appointments according to schedule
  • Maintain client files in appropriate order
  • Respond to client inquiries and assist with client request
  • Handle incoming/outgoing calls, answer client inquiries
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and client educational events
