We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This role will report to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare batch payment files to ensure timely payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities including AP aging review, AP reconciliations, and maintaining an accrual listing
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of accounting software, NetSuite preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
- A high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
