Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Lead who will report directly to our Front Office Manager as the number 2 at the Front Desk. As the first point of contact for our associates and guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay and every day in the workplace. Duties:
- Assist FOM with projects and implementing brand initiatives
-Help reach BW Rewards enrollment goals
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Operate phone systems to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or guest room
- Assist with night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Be available to cover any shift if call off happens with minimal notice
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is an advantage
