Job Overview:
At the moment we are looking for a new addition to the front office team, ideally someone with dental experience. We have a great general dentistry practice with a good team setting. Our patients are a blend of private and PPO insurance. We are not a corporate office. We are willing to train and teach back office assistants for the front office position. The right candidate would be capable of providing excellent customer service, answering phone calls, verifying dental insurance benefits, confirming appointments, and treatment planning. Someone who is bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English would be helpful but not necessary. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our office so a good fit and friendly personality are key. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, screen and direct them appropriately
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
- Assist with administrative tasks such as digital chart input and scanning documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Requirements:
- Previous experience in front office is preferred, but not required
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Knowledge of OpenDental and Dexis dental software is advantageous

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
