Overview

For the Information Technology Service Desk Internship at BerryDunn, you will have the opportunity to assist employees in various IT Department areas. You will receive close supervision, coaching, and guidance from your supervisor, Manager, or the Project Manager in charge of your projects.

During your internship, you will receive comprehensive training in both technical and soft skills, teamwork, and the firm’s systems, operations, and relationships. We expect you to be flexible, seek advice, and show a strong desire to learn.

Your training will include working with ITSM systems, hardware, software, ITIL & Project Management processes and various technologies and software including Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Assist by supporting Technical Analysts with day to day work on the IT Service Desk
• Shadow Technical Analysts
• Help with equipment inventory 
• Assist with workflow automation creation and testing in Freshservice platform
• Assist with PowerAutomate workflows within M365
• Assist with Forms creation and automation within M365

Qualifications

You Have:

• Pursuing a degree in a computer technology or software development
• Interest in pursuing a career in technology
• Interest in working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in our Portland, Maine office

Compensation Details

The base salary range targeted for this role is $18 - $22 / hour. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
