We are currently seeking qualified individual to join our team as the Director of Human Resources in our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Williamsport PA. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee two sister Skilled Long-Term Care facilities while advancing your career in healthcare administration.

 Director of Human Resources Position Overview:

As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee two Skilled Long-Term Care facilities on the same campus. TheDirector of Human Resources is responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function at the facility level. Implements all Human Resources policies and procedures. Preferred candidate will have background in long-term care.

Director of Human Resources Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen and enhance employee satisfaction, workforce safety, and serve as a change agent and build team cohesion.
  • Work collaboratively to minimize legal exposure and risk to the organization by addressing workplace issues related to city, state, and federal regulations and labor union contracts.
  • Support staff management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations and employee relation issues.
  •  Administers benefit programs, leave of absence and employee assistance. 
  • Investigates employee incidents and accidents and required incident reporting.
  • Complete and maintain all unemployment claims.

 Director of Human Resources Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college of university preferred: or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in human resources.
  • Experience in a nursing home or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Required strong background in recruitment and retention.
