Beckon is seeking an exemplary bar-chef & beverage professional to operate a modest cocktail program and assist our team on the floor during service. This position is first and foremost in mind for a culinarily savvy and hospitality minded professional who loves service but also happens to be efficient, creative and knowledgeable behind the bar. 
In short, you are a unicorn.
Resposibilities of this position include:
-Creating a short menu of cocktails that are relevant to our aesthetic. Pre-batching is essential, addt'l hours may be necessary to accomodate this need. 
- Full attention to the menu, including wine pairings and by the glass options, and the knowledge needed to speak confidently of them at all times.
- Participation in service as bartender as well as host, as an assistant to the front servers, as glassware polisher and as food runner. A Jack of all trades. 
- Teaching the staff about relevant spirits. Training some members of the staff to make your cocktails so that our team is more flexible and awesome. 
-Continuing our current No-Alcohol bar pairing offering, including creating delicious and thoughtful 0-proof beverages to be paired with each new food change, monitoring each week's pre-orders and their specific dietary requirements, and serving the pairings on time with each course during service.
