Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing the revenue cycle and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers to contribute to the financial success of our organization.
Duties:
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and analyze customer accounts for outstanding balances
- Generate invoices and statements for customers
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends or issues
- Assist with data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries or disputes
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding billing inquiries
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related field
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as Quickbooks or similar systems
- Excellent 10-key typing skills with high accuracy
- Ability to perform account reconciliations and analyze data effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude for calculations and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
