Business Development Director

I. Job Summary:

The BDP North American Business Development Solutions (BDS) Team aims to establish deep and rich relationships with our existing clients and brand new clients to understand their supply chain needs, goals and pain points with the purpose of introducing new solutions and differentiate ourselves by leveraging our value-added services. In accordance with mutually agreed upon strategies with our internal stakeholders, the NA BDS team will focus our efforts in supporting our core competencies designed to explore growth potential and cost saving opportunities that are mutually beneficial to existing and future client relationships.

The NA BDS team shall be accountable for regional organic client revenue growth, non-traditional supply chain solutions, customer initiative integration, and relationship building as well as project management related activities.

II. Essential Functions: (Primary)

• Facilitation of Business Assessment: needs vs. solution, value differentiation & deliverables, cost or value driven decision-making

• Introduction of Value Added / Non-Traditional Offerings, such as:

- LLP Services

- Purchase Order Management Solutions

- International Trade Compliance Services

- Business Process Improvement / Analysis

- Supply Chain Support Solutions

- ERP Data Management Services

- Transportation Management & Administration Solutions

- Supply Chain Consulting

- Project Cargo Logistics

• Continued Promotion of PSA/BDP Core Services {Export FF, Import CHB, Multi-Modal Transportation}

• Project & Business Implementation Administration

• Internal PSA/BDP RFQ / Proposal Management

• Adherence to SFDC & BD Reporting Requirements / Protocols

III. Other Responsibilities: (Secondary)

• Support of Regional Managers & Directors, as required

• Global / Regional Sales Support, as required

• Support PSA/BDP Industry Vertical Deployment, as required {Existing House Accounts}

• Promote New PSA/BDP Products & Technologies

• Hunt new business from clients PSA/BDP does not have a relationship with

• Effective use of problem-solving skills, innovation and entrepreneurship
