Position Summary:

The HR Recruiter (Part-Time) will support the Talent Team in recruiting dynamic individuals. Under the direction of the Chief People Officer, this person will use an understanding of core recruiting skills such as sourcing, pre-screening and working within our Applicant Tracking System to manage the candidate journey. This person should be able to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion to assist with all areas of HR. Responsible for tracking and reporting on open roles and hiring data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with hiring manager and HR Business Partners to develop a sourcing such as LinkedIn Recruiter, external job postings and direct outreach recruitment strategy that fills open positions with quality hires within agreed upon timelines. Screen resumes and conduct initial screening interviews of internal and external candidates for full- time and part-time positions, Generates candidate leads that tap into passive candidate pool for current and future open positions, Share the responsibility of reviewing our applicant tracking system including setting up job/scorecard templates and interviewers, Assist with setting up interviews for interviewers and most-qualified candidate, Facilitate interview feedback from all interviewers and candidates, Provide hiring managers with regular feedback on search process, candidate profiles, challenges and opportunities. This includes providing hiring managers with candidate feedback on progress, Managing external websites and recruiters as needed to ensure the hiring manager receives agreed-to service levels, Ensure pre-employment activities are initiated and completed, Responsible for offer and acceptance then move new hire to the HR Business Partner, Analyzes performance metrics to understand hiring trends, identify opportunities for improved performance and outcomes, and to better educate and influence hiring managers and train new users on Greenhouse and set up profile.
  • Write offer letters, process all new hire paperwork and background checks, Post all open jobs and utilize applicant tracking tool to support recruitment function, Select job fair and facilitate company rep. to attend in person, Run reports and analyze metrics; track HR data as requested, Answer employee questions while maintaining confidentiality, provide administrative support in other areas of the business. Assist with other projects as needed, Complete Federal and State employment and compliance requests such as ACA reporting and unemployment claims, maintain job descriptions, Maintain Talent section on SharePoint, Maintain VMS (Volunteer Management System)

Qualifications/Requirements:.

  • Two years of experience in HR administration, Recruiter experience preferred, Must be organized, detail oriented, process focused and able to analyze data, Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, Required Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse Preferred), Good writing and proofreading skills, Required HRIS skills and experience (ADP preferred), Strong excel and PowerPoint skills, A bachelor's degree preferred
  • Travel is expected; career fairs, possible attendance at Staff Conference and International Convention
  • Remote Work Environment, Work Hours are Monday- Friday 9am-1pm EST or equivalent, Hourly compensation: $22-$25.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship.
