We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. This is a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Superintendent.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople on site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Review and interpret project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficient in using construction software such as HeavyBid, ProCore, or Primavera.
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
