Position Description: Patient Support Technician
Positions details:
- Location: Mease Countryside Hospital - 3231 N McMullen-Booth Road, Safety Harbor FL 34695
- Status: Full Time - Days
- Shift: 7:00am – 7:00pm
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person
- Exempt: No

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 6 months – Acute Care Experience
- 1 year – Skilled Nursing Facility (Florida CNA)
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN Program
- Florida Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) without clinical hands-on patient care experience – BayCare PCT Bootcamp required during first week of employment.
Required Certification:
- BLS (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
Preferred:
- 1 year - Hospital in related field
- EMT certification / Paramedic license
The Patient Support Technician –responsibilities and skills:
This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health/Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.
