Position Description: RN

The Clinical Nurse I responsibilities include:

• Cares for a group of patients with minimum supervision applying the nursing process and clinical standards

• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Responsible for professional accountability and seeks opportunities to develop.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing

• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

• Required6 months RN Acute Care experience or 3 months RN Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment

• Or Registered Nurse with greater than 6 months of experience and most recent experiences is not in the hospital setting(e.g., home health care, assistant living facility, skilled nursing facility, doctors’ office or private duty setting).
