Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for preparing vehicles for delivery, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with sales and service departments to prioritize vehicle preparation based on customer needs.
- Oversee inventory management of detailing supplies and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels by placing orders as needed.
- Ensure the dealership lot is well-organized for efficient vehicle access and utilization of space.
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure efficient and safe vehicle preparation processes.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to minimize loss and enhance efficiency.
- Utilize analytical skills to analyze inventory data and recommend improvements to inventory management processes.
- Wash, dry, and vacuum vehicles to ensure they are presented to customers in pristine condition.
- Perform basic detailing tasks such as waxing, window cleaning, and tire dressing.
- Assist with lot organization and general cleanup duties as required.
- Monitor vehicle inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory manager to maintain accurate records.
- Assist with vehicle transport, including moving vehicles to and from storage areas.
- Conduct regular lot inspections to identify and address maintenance or safety issues.
- Provide support to sales and service departments, including assisting with customer vehicle pickups and deliveries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to established procedures.
