The Professional Development Operations Manager position will focus on working with school partners to determine the best professional development session to meet their needs in the time frame requested. This individual will adapt to various scenarios while prioritizing tasks needed to execute quality professional development. Members of the Professional Development Operations team are an integral part of the overall success of the Amplify Team and the success of our schools.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining knowledge of products and the professional development offerings for assigned products, including how customer requests/needs may be combined based on business policy

  • Manage and coordinate Amplify Professional Development (PD), executing processes to support the initial preparation, scheduling, updating, delivery and execution of services

  • Proficiently and professionally address various customer inquiries including guiding the customer toward specific professional learning services, asking detailed questions to gather event logistics, and address any concerns/questions a customer may have regarding their PD purchase

  • Regularly update and maintain customer and session information within Salesforce aligned to established SLA's

  • Use Salesforce and other systems to report status of remaining Professional Development (PD) to be scheduled and communicate with stakeholders

  • Use Salesforce and other systems to report status of remaining Professional Development (PD) and accurate financial burndown of PD

  • Collaborate effectively with Sales and other internal teams involved in professional development

  • Dynamic use of Salesforce to move through scheduling sessions quickly with an eye toward detail

  • Maintain proficiency in the operational processes in order to apply to PD scheduling

  • Apply a customer focus when scheduling while maintaining business objectives

  • Confirm professional development sessions and details with school leaders at a variety of levels

  • Use strong administrative and organizational skills to meet or exceed established deadlines for task completion

  • Proactively detect problems and think analytically and independently to solve them with a strong customer focused perspective

Basic Qualifications of the Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2 years experience in education or other education publishing work experience

  • 1 year experience using Salesforce and internal systems to maintain and share data

  • Demonstrated proficiency with analyzing data from multiple internal business systems

  • Strong understanding of business processes, financials and workflows

  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications with a strong proficiency in Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications of the PD Operations Manager :

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to enthusiastically function within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial service and support culture

  • Proficient in effective customer communication at various organizational levels

  • Demonstrates ability to learn internal systems at a fast pace

  • Ability to develop, recommend, and implement projects that will result in improved efficiency, productivity, quality, and operational savings

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000.
