We are currently looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Manager for our Poway, CA location. The Accounts Receivable Manager supports the VP of Finance & Accounting in overseeing all customer credit limits, collections, the Preliminary Notice/Release process, and reporting activities. This role will make the necessary changes to take the AR department to the next level of growth, including to help standardize processes and procedures. Communication and accountability are essential to the success of the Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Determine credit terms for all new customers and manage existing customers credit terms
• Manage overall AR aging and collect on trouble accounts >90 days and older
• Manage the preliminary notice/lien release process
• Lead and develop staff of 2 by managing performance, providing training, and building relationships
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain customer relationships
• Back-up to staff on payment application, lien releases, customer issues and requests.
• Prepare AR reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends for management
• Ensure all Accounts Receivable information is entered and accurate to meet month end deadlines
• Assist in other month end duties as needed

Experience and Skills:

• 5 years of accounts receivable experience
• 3 years of prelim/lien release experience
• 3 years supervisory/management experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Great Plains experience a plus
• Keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
