Job Overview

The Electrical Installation Manager works “hand-in-hand” with the sales and project engineering teams in execution of various projects. The Electrical Installation Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of all Electrical Installation projects. The responsibilities include supervise all scheduling, support, on site installation, and closing out electrical installation projects to the satisfaction of the customer. The position has management responsibility for the following direct reports: Supervisors, Leads and Electricians.

General Job Duties

• Ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures (working closely with site managers)
• Development of workforce plans/budgets for projects that are self-performed – this includes re-quoting projects projects in the as-sold configuration
• Monthly financial forecasting
• Development of specific installation standards for internal/external install team adherence.
• Work with internal upstream/downstream suppliers on continuous improvement (i.e., drawing quality, on time delivery, etc.)
• Assist with licensing and permitting for internally sourced projects, may assist with external sourced projects in specific instances
• Review and approve expense reports/time sheets for direct reports – ensure adherence to policies throughout the team
• Perform annual performance reviews and goal setting for team, working with HR and leadership
• Be a ‘consultant’ from the electrical installation perspective, as it relates to pre-sale opportunities, and post-sale project planning when needed
• Travel minimum 50% on as needed basis; includes project site visits and occasional visits to HQ in Indianapolis
• This position can be remote/hybrid as will be traveling to sites, HQ or other Bastian Solutions offices for project meetings/client visits etc.

• Consistently communicates with the Sr Manager of Installation
• Timely resolution of issues and customer satisfaction with Support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent industry/management experience
• This position requires up to 50% overnight travel
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent technical problem-solving capability (Electrical, hardware, controls)
• Strong scheduling (resource allocation) skills
• Excellent customer relations during complex installations
• Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
