Bally's Dover Casino Resort is Hiring a Representative - HR Services Near Dover, DE

MAJOR FOCUS:

Responsible for providing administrative support to all functions of the Human Resources Department, with specific emphasis as the Company’s representative for the Delaware Lottery license application process and Employee Action Form processing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides instruction and supervision for individuals in the process of completing Delaware Lottery license applications.
  • Verifies identification of all Delaware Lottery license applicants through the inspection of documents as to identity, proof of age and proof of citizenship.
  • Reviews all Delaware Lottery license applications for completeness, legibility and proper responses to questions.
  • Maintains a Delaware Lottery license application and renewal application log.
  • Responsible for reviewing and processing Employee Action Forms (EAFs) which include but is not limited status changes, promotions, annual reviews, transfers and terminations.
  • Provides support activities such as answering telephones and assisting and resolving problems/inquiries of visitors/customers.
  • Performs a range of diverse administrative activities in the resolution of a variety of day-to-day matters concerning Human Resources functions.
  • Prepares word processing memos, letters, reports and other Human Resources related forms.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Responsible for logging and filing corrective counseling notices.
  • Responsible for maintaining the annual performance review log.
  • Establishes, updates, and maintains employee files and records; implements and maintains data management systems, as required.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
  • Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
  • Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Must comply with the company’s recycling program standards.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides backup for other Human Resources staff as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

  • Must possess High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • One year of experience in general office work required.
  • Supplemental college courses in administration or human resources preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
  • Must be able to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must be able to write clearly, concisely and use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Must perform work accurately and in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Must be able to manage processes, multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Good analytical/numerical, organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are required.
  • Must maintain and honor confidentiality and have the ability to balance HR integrity with the needs of front line employees and management.
  • Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
  • Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
