Reports to: Senior Manager, Revenue

Primary Function: Oversee Leasing Team

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Location: San Francisco, CA


Summary

Brick and Timber is seeking a Manager of Leasing Systems, to oversee the integration and management of leasing software and technology solutions. This role is crucial for enhancing leasing operations, improving tenant engagement, and streamlining the leasing process through technological advancements.

Brick and Timber is a property management company focused upon managing residential apartment properties in the Bay Area. The Company seeks to attract and retain motivated, creative real estate professionals who love the local Bay Area culture and can bring their own unique approaches to enhancing and developing Brick and Timber’s real estate leasing activities.

At Brick Timber, we believe it is possible for renters to experience San Francisco’s old-world charm without having to endure the 70's avocado fridge. We work hard to find historic apartment buildings in all the best San Francisco neighborhoods. Our architectural crew then carefully renovates each structure, restoring its unique characteristics, and builds modern amenities into the units. We believe living spaces should have integrity and are deeply committed to our tenants.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Technology Implementation and Management:
    • Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of leasing software and technologies, including CRM systems, online leasing platforms, mobile applications, and virtual touring tools
    • Act as a market expert and actively keep up with market rates and promotions
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze and optimize leasing processes through technology to enhance efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and improve the tenant experience
    • Generate creative commission plans/competitions to incentivize performance and teamwork
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to leasing staff on new technologies and systems, ensuring high adoption rates and proficient use
    • Provide input to leadership regarding inaccuracies and improvements
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize leasing technologies to gather and analyze data on leasing performance, tenant behavior, and market trends
    • Generate reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Innovation and Strategy:
    • Stay informed on emerging leasing technologies and trends
    • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance leasing operations and support the company's strategic objectives


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • A California Real Estate Salesperson or Brokerage license is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
  • 5 years of real estate or sales experience; at least 2 years of proven management experience
  • Additional certificates: CCRM, appraisal license, etc. preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Self-starter attitude, ability to remain on task while working autonomously and also provide direction at the same time
  • Flexibility to work on an inconsistent schedule including nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize deadlines and department goals
