The food server is responsible to maintain the company’s top-quality standards by serving every guest in a warm, friendly, and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Check with manager for station assignment.
• Assist in setting up dining room.
• Become familiar with table numbers and restaurant layout.
• Familiarity with menu items and dietary ingredients.
• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage.
• Actively take orders, giving suggestions, conduct full and complete food and beverage service and monitor guests during their dining experience.
• Ring orders into POS and ensure delivery of all items ordered in a timely fashion and prepared correctly..
• Process cash and credit card charges.
• Abide by all state and federal food handling laws.
• Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age if serving alcohol
• 1-2 years server experience required
• Knowledge of food and spirits.
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
• Sense of urgency and prioritization
• Ability to success in a deadline driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.
