Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. Your role will involve guest relations, managing reservations, and assisting with various administrative tasks. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner upon arrival
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating as necessary
- Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of front desk operations and hotel procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus (bilingual in [LANGUAGE] preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an asset
