Job Summary: The Staff Accountant supports the accounting department by performing various tasks related to financial transactions and reporting. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues.
- Generate and analyze financial reports as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of experience
