The Manager, QA Engineering will bring expertise from a strong background in QA engineering to a growing and innovative organization. This person will lead their direct reports and work closely with the Software and Product team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the evolution of our QA processes in alignment with Agile principles, ensuring they remain adaptable and effective.
• Develop comprehensive regression test plans for Sprint releases, covering both manual and automated tests, to ensure the highest standards of quality
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance QA practices and methodologies.
• Provide thought leadership in Test Automation and Agile testing, leveraging technologies such as Cypress/TypeScript, Appium,WebdriverIO, BDD, Azure, GitHub and more, to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide team members in designing and executing automated tests efficiently to maximize test coverage and software quality.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of Agile testing strategy throughout the team, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
• Develop and implement strategic QA initiatives, providing valuable insight and direction to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
• Establish and refine QA metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing processes.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they quickly integrate into our Agile QA practices and contribute to team success.
• Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture within the QA team, offering mentorship and creating opportunities for professional development.
• Collaborate closely with the Scrum Masters, Dev Managers and cross-functional teams to support the timely completion of sprint tasks and adhere to the Definition of Done (DoD), ensuring that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science, coupled with 5 years of progressive experience in Software testing and/or Software QA Engineering.
• Extensive experience (5 years) in both automation and manual testing, with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with 2 years of experience managing Software QA teams.
• Proficiency (3 years) in Test Automation using Cypress/TypeScript, Appium, WebdriverIO
• Solid understanding of Web API, Angular, SQL Server, .NET, C#, Azure, etc.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic QA initiatives and providing QA strategy to the team.
• Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Proven track record of developing and utilizing QA metrics to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Experience in Selenium/PHP automation a plus.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of$145,000.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager's discretion.
