Job DescriptionAWMA, Inc. is a world-leading manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and athletic supplies since 1972. To continue evolving our commitment to superior service and an ever-improving customer experience, AWMA is looking for a dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team in Northeast Philadelphia.
This is a great opportunity for any driven self-starter with customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience.
This role will include ongoing training and mentoring, but candidates with a demonstrated record of improving customer experience, successfully pursuing sales goals, and/or delivering excellent service are strongly preferred. We're looking for someone who will represent our company and brand in a way that will foster customer relationships that last for decades.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering quality customer service via telephone and email
  • Fielding inbound customer calls
  • Outbound calls to new and existing customers
  • Assisting customers with any issues or questions that may arise
  • Service and sales growth of customer accounts
  • Obtaining new customer accounts
  • Prospecting and generating new leads
Qualifications:
  • Professional and friendly telephone skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and a goal-oriented will to succeed
Strong Plus, but Not Required:
  • Three or more years of customer service, making outbound calls, telemarketing, inside sales, or account management experience
  • A track record of success in a telephone-based customer service or sales role
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Sage100 preferred
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Hours: Full time 9:00am - 5:30pm
