Job Description
Aviation Repair Technologies is a leading FAA and EASA-certified repair station specialized in component MRO, airframe maintenance and end-of-life management, and logistics services for the most popular commercial and regional aircraft operating today. ART supports aircraft operators around the world from our state-of-the-art component MRO facilities located in Blytheville, Arkansas, and Miami, Florida.

ART is currently looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in Miami (Doral), Florida.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Enter and process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions on a daily basis;
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned;
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed;
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports;
- Assist junior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings;
- Assist with other accounting projects; and
- Other duties as assigned.
NICE TO HAVES, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience using Quantum Controls Software or QAV; and
- Experience in the aviation industry.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Accounting or a related professional field;
- 2 years' experience in Accounting or a related professional field;
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company work product and related policies and procedures;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel use is required);
- Be able to work regular business hours (8 AM to 5 PM);
- Able to communicate orally and in writing in a professional manner;
- Strong business ethics; and
- Be 18 years or older and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
