We are looking for an closing shift Member Service Representative to join our team. Avalon Athletic Club is outfitted with the latest state-of-the-art tools to help members grow strong, achieve their fitness goals, work on themselves, and design the life they desire, starting with their mind-body connection. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Closing the facility at the set hours and maintain facility standards.
- Demonstrate the value of Member Service Representative by attending to all the members needs and provide an outstanding experience for new and existing members.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions.
- Assist with the onboarding of new members.
- Make our clubs easy to use by guiding and educating members and clients on any questions they may have on exercise or fitness equipment.
- Motivate and inspire members when they arrive.
- Follow protocol provided to ensure the success of the health club
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Personal Training: 1 year (Preferred)
- In process of certification encouraged to apply
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 10:00pm
- Weekend availability, 12:00pm to 6:00pm
License/Certification:
- Certified Personal Trainer (Preferred)
- AED Certification (Preferred)
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
