We are a small but dedicated team that prioritizes taking excellent care of our customers and growing our business. We are seeking to fill our Customer Service/Marketing Associate position with an enthusiastic, optimistic individual who has a strong work ethic, possesses great problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and has the ability to juggle multiple tasks with attention to detail. This position has responsibility for delivering outstanding service to our customers in a multi-channel environment (live chat, text, email, social, video calls, amazon, etc..), and working with our Director of Marketing to create and edit digital content for use across our multiple media channels.

Responsibilities include:

• Engage in a personalized, genuine, and cheerful manner with customers over live chat, video calls (including live product demos), email, social channels and third-party messaging tools.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and their mechanical functionality.
• Utilize our internal database resources as necessary to help answer customer questions and guide purchases.
• Work within our order management systems to create, edit, and modify existing orders and discounts, and track shipments and returns.
• Interface with our warehouse and logistics team to help customers track and manage their shipments.
• Engage with influencers and followers by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant content to foster community growth and interaction.
• Work one-on-one with key influencers to drive new content development.
• Create engaging content.
• Suggest new content ideas based on competitive research.
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering customer engagement metrics.
• Keep on top of new trends and suggest ways Austlen can incorporate the trend into its feed.
• Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA/BA preferred.
• Three (3) years of customer service (or administrative) experience that required active-listening and an ability to empathize with customers or stakeholders.
• Preferred experience working within social media in a business-to-consumer setting, or an active personal presence on social media with a portfolio of posts and content that exemplify thorough knowledge and understanding of the platforms.
• Thorough understanding or experience with baby and children’s products, specifically baby strollers (Preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize tasks.
• Patience, empathy, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to maintain focus and momentum working independently.
• Proficiency and comfort using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with a willingness to be trained on other software platforms.
• Proficiency and comfort using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).
• Preferred: Graphic design capabilities using Canva or Adobe Photoshop, and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
