Job Summary The Director of Human Resources will report to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, who leads the central HR unit for Auburn University and will hold a dual leadership role with our Research and Economic Development division. Responsibilities in Research: The Director will closely collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Research and serve as an advisor within our complex research division, where responsibilities include planning, directing, managing, and overseeing human resources programs that affect research activities across campus. Responsibilities in Human Resources: The Director willserve as a University Human Resources expert resource, participating in strategic projects, enterprise-wide initiatives, workforce planning, and providing advice, counsel, mentoring, coaching, and training as needed. The Director will collaborate with distributed human resources liaisons across the University, the Provost's Office, University Human Resources, and campus-wide administration leadership to ensure complex enterprise-wide processes align with enterprise objectives and adhere to university policies and regulations. The Director will lead and facilitate research enterprise-wide collaboration, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the research position and pay processes across the University to align with Auburn University's research mission and goals.
