Atomix is Hiring a Line Cook Near New York, NY

Atomix (2018), is a two Michelin starred fine-dining concept designed to showcase Chef Park’s vision of combining traditional Korean techniques and western techniques, with world-class ingredients and exceptional service and design. In its opening year, Atomix received a James Beard nomination for “Best New Restaurant,” and glowing reviews from New York Magazine, The Washington Post, Eater New York, and 3-stars from The New York Times. In 2019, Atomix received its second Michelin star, and in 2022 it was ranked thirty-third by San Pellegrino's World's 50 Best RestaurantsIn 2023, Chef Park won the James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef in NY and that same year, Atomix ranked 8th on San Pellegrino's World's 50 Best Restaurant. We are looking for passionate and enthusiasticLine Cooks with a strong work ethic and an endless curiosity to learn and grow with our restaurant. This position reports to the Executive Chef and the Sous Chef.Qualified Line Cooks must work well with others, have a sense of urgency, and enjoy preparing thoughtfully created food. We emphasize a collaborative working environment that allows our whole team to grow and learn together.

Requirements:

- Fine dining service experience
- Positive Attitude
- Careful attention to detail
- A sense of urgency and strong communication skills
- Ability to work cleanly & efficiently
- Punctuality
- Energy, organization skills, and ambition
- Team-working skills
- Knowledge of Asian/ Korean cuisine and flavors a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs if necessary
  • Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment
  • Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant
