Duties

• Providing direct care to patients and assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring
• Monitoring vital signs, documenting, and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Assisting in delivering meals to patients and monitoring food and fluid intake
• Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to infection control procedures
• Participating in continuing education and in-service training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge base
• Maintaining professionalism and providing emotional support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• 18 years old and above
• Ability to maintain professionalism under challenging circumstances
• Flexibility in work hours, as this position may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
