Overview

AgentLink has an exciting career opportunity for a Sales Assistant in our Louisville Office. The Sales Assistant works with carriers and clients to provide services to independent insurance agents. 

AgentLink, an Accretive Company, started as a Managing General Agent (MGA) for one insurance carrier – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kentucky. Back then we distributed the Blue Cross / Blue Shield products through approximately 50 independent agents in three counties in Northern Kentucky and in Louisville KY. With the support of the independent agent community AgentLink has grown exponentially since 1991. We currently represent over 50 insurance companies and provide support to 7000 agents in 12 states. What You'll Do

  • Schedule and manage appointments and follow-up meetings for internal. Sales Team and independent agent
  • Corresponds to prospect client lists.
  • Communicate with brokers as needed to place business.
  • Provides new and alternate quotes to existing and prospective clients.
  • Pulls renewals/billings and creates workflows.
  • Reviews and submits paperwork to careers - new and renewal policies.
  • Sends delinquent account notices.
  • Other duties as necessary.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service/call center experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED and relative administrative work experience and/or training required.
  • Need to be able to obtain Life & Health License within 60-90 days of employment.
  • Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Diligence and attention to detail.
