Overview

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for sales support at the direction of the Producer, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive.  The Business Development Coordinator provides service to designated producers by handling the day-to-day support duties/functions for the producers.  

Responsibilities

  • Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • Maintain Microsoft Dynamics (Agency Client Relationship Management (CRM) Software)
  • Support seasoned producers in:
    • maintaining their social media profiles,
    • sending relevant information to their current clients,
    • setting appointments with their current clients to ensure they are meeting with the C-Suite frequently enough,
    • generating lead generation lists,
    • make travel arrangements; including some multi-destination or international
  • Manage deliverables; organize and coordinate workflow, manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects
  • Maintain files, databases or shared sites as appropriate
  • Prepare, produce, edit with formatting high quality client presentations and correspondence, graphic, while using MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Schedule and lead kick off meetings, focusing on learning about the prospect/client, establishing win themes, and providing clear direction for next steps for successful project completion.
  • Create proposal delivery timeline and clear expectations for sales and proposal team’s response.
  • Populate proposal from boilerplate content maintained in RFP database.
  • Research prospect and customize boilerplate content to address prospect’s industry, challenges, and culture.
  • Write executive summaries, and new material as needed.
  • Edit proposal content provided by sales.
  • Proactively direct finalization and delivery, communicating as needed with management, technical personnel and various teams.
  • Proactively participate in developing new content for use in proposals.
  • Work with subject matter experts to create and update written content.

 

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.    
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
