Assurance Health System is a regional system of short-term, inpatient psychiatric hospitals with a focus on senior mental health care. Our dedicated staff provides highly specialized and compassionate psychiatric care for our aging population. We work closely with long-term care facilities, assisted and independent living facilities, area hospitals, psychiatrists, geriatricians, internists, family practitioners, and others. Our hospitals are located in Indiana, Ohio, and Kansas.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Nursing. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of nursing policies and procedures, development of nursing staff, and managing nursing department budget. The Director of Nursing will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care. This role is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Nursing Management and Nursing skills
• Knowledge of infection control practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Current nursing license in the state of Indiana
• Follows established HIPAA procedures when using and/or disclosing protected health information.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
• Experience: Five years of clinical and/or managerial experience in an acute care psychiatric setting is also preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
