Assembly is Hiring a Director, Integrated Media Near New York, NY

Assembly is looking for a Director, Integrated Media. The Director, Integrated Media is a management position accountable for all aspects of their assigned client’s digital and supporting offline campaigns. The candidate will have ownership of the client’s media services relationship. Must work closely with partner media channels to set holistic strategies for their accounts. The role has elements of media planning, performance analysis, staff management and client services. The ideal candidate will have a media planning background, proven leadership skills and a solid track record of developing and executing media strategy. The ability to multi-task while under tight deadlines with team members from various disciplines is required. It is expected that a Director will participate in the development of the department, ensuring the correct processes are in place for efficient execution of all day-to-day work. The Director supports overall revenue growth of the accounts they manage, oversight of omnichannel budget allocations and maintenance, and work with the Account Management lead to maintain client confidence. 

Responsibilities
  • Acts as single point of contact, overseeing full funnel, cross-channel media strategies across both evergreen and moment in time initiatives for enterprise clients 
  • Works seamlessly with high-performing cross functional team (CEL, media execution, experience design, etc.) to build, enable and advocate for strategic cross-platform activation ideas that lead to effective campaigns and help drive powerful change 
  • Stays current with thought leadership, industry trends, and competitive strategies that can translate into new ideas and client opportunities 
  • Works in close collaboration with brand experience strategy leads to identify whitespace for new business pitches and assigned book of business 
  • Cultivates and fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external networks, platforms, and other partners
  • Collaborates with CEL and I&C on media mix, budgets and KPIs for accelerated growth across channels – maps to detailed plans including channels, partners, formats, and costs and brings plans to life in client presentations that excite delight 
  • Leads oversight of all aspects of media investment: budget management & reporting, media allocations, forecasting, invoice & billing reconciliation, etc. 
  • Institutes rigor to test/learn agendas across media channels so we can continuously sharpen our strategies/tactics 
  • Drives continuous optimization of media executions in response to business performance against target KPIs 
  • Recognizes opportunities to explore new media territories on client engagements and to activate channel SMEs as appropriate 
  • Development of media KPI framework across brand health and performance metrics 
  • Partners with Channel Leads and Data and Tech stakeholders to ensure all paid media data and measurement is accurately set up 
  • Responsible for providing pixel structure recommendations and ensuring floodlight tags are implemented at client or platform onboarding and confirming tagging taxonomy with Channel Leads/AdOps/Analytics 
  • Identifies when brand studies should be implemented across relevant channels (i.e. YouTube) and ensures they are accurately set up and that post-study reporting is provided 
  • Responsible for providing clients with cross-channel reporting, including cross-channel buy reports, campaign wrap-up reports, and any stand-up cross-channel client reporting
  • Ensures client brand safety preferences are implemented where applicable and makes recommendations as appropriate
  • Responsible for managing, mentoring, and training any direct reports and ensuring standardization of processes and ways of working 
  • PMD/FMP management experience
  • Experience using comScore and 3rd party ad serving technology (i.e., Campaign Manager)
  • 6-8 years media experience including at least 3 years in interactive planning
  • Programmatic Experience (DMP, DSP, exchange)
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience (have managed a team of 3 )
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in Media Plan presentations
  • Diverse account background including some direct response and awareness
  • 5 years (combined) experience with online media planning and web/media analytics and reporting
  • 3 years digital or online advertising industry experience preferred
  • 2 years of people management experience required
  • Knowledge of social metrics and platforms
  • Ability to work with MS Office product suite including exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Be a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $125,000 - $145,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
